- Download and use our mobile application (Nova Nerds) or any other application that links to this Privacy Notice.

This policy complies with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA) of Sri Lanka.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal Information You Provide
We collect personal information you voluntarily submit:

- Usernames
- Authentication tokens (e.g., Google or Apple login)
We collect only the data needed for the services we provide.
Automatically Collected Data
We collect data such as:
- Device details: IP address, OS, hardware model
- Usage Data: In-game actions, levels completed, interaction logs
- Location Data: Approximate IP-based location (can be disabled in settings)
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for users under 18 without verified parental consent. If we learn of a child’s data collected without such consent, it will be deleted.
1A. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
In compliance with PDPA Section 5, we process your personal data based on:
- Consent: Where you explicitly allow us to process your data.
- Contractual Necessity: To fulfill our obligations in providing Nova Nerds.
- Legal Obligation: When processing is necessary for compliance with applicable laws.
- Legitimate Interest: For product improvement, security, and customer service, provided it does not override your rights.
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your data to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Improve gameplay and features
- Provide technical support
- Send communications (opt-in for marketing)
- Enforce policies and prevent fraud

3. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES

Your data may be transferred to countries outside Sri Lanka. In line with PDPA Part VI, such transfers occur only where:

- We use binding contractual clauses (e.g., SCCs) to ensure protection.

5. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
We retain personal data only as long as:
- Needed for service delivery
- Required by law
Inactive accounts may be deleted after 12 months. You may request deletion at any time.

- Routine security testing

- You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe or contacting us.
- Our Services may use cookies, SDKs, or tracking tools.
- Tracking preferences can be managed via device or in-app settings.
